Each day we scour the net looking for our favorite items, deals, and trends. Here’s what we discovered today!
Oversized pieces are hot for the fall/winter season, and you can find ways to incorporate the trend depending on which item you choose to highlight. Our favorites are a big coat (a la Celine), a big sweater, or a big skirt. The skirt should be knee- or midi-lnegth and have a nice, full, A-line shape. Pair it with small, tight-fitting cashmere and don’t be afraid to mix colors! We love this H&M Skirt in a bright yellow patterned weave with its bunchy side pockets (pockets!!) and modest price. #lucky #trends #outfitideas

The monochromatic trend can be interpreted to mean different variations and shades of the same color. We love mixing light pink with magenta, lilac with royal purple, and sky blue with cadet blue. We also love a well made silk sheath dress, and although it’s crazy expensive, we’re using this gorgeous spliced dress from Narciso Rodriguez as inspiration. The sharp, graphic lines are ultra modern and chic, and the lush papaya silk looks so amazing when cut against the darker, burnt orange. Wear with a simple top coat and a great pair of heels for an evening out!
Do you love the bright new neon colors but think you can’t possibly wear them? Well think again!
You could dip your toes into the trend (quite literally!) by painting your nails, or adopt a piece of jewellery, or wear a neon singlet under another top for a peek-a-boo neon look.
If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, pop a neon top under a lace one like I did today with this Lorna Jane singlet, under a Jay Jay’s lace top ($15 on sale). I love the color combo of neon pink and yellow so these lemon Jay Jay’sjeans ($25) were perfect.
Polished the look with Nine West heels, hot pink watch and neon pink Forever New earrings.
Bangle & sunnies were gifts . . . and now you’re Looking Good Girls!
